God is trying to tell you something
Estranged daughter, long-hardened father, repentant husband--all because of God whispering to hearts through the power of the human voice lifted in praise. One of the best moments in movie history, ever.
DId you know The Color Purple was one of the novels/movies I used to teach at UCD in my "Telling Tales" class? Ah, the good old days. . . I love that movie too. And I thought of this clip today because of looking up a clip by the Brooklyn Tabernacle Choir--which ALWAYS makes me think of you! : )

Sometimes I would like to ask God why He allows poverty, famine and injustice in the world, when He could do something about it. . . but I'm afraid He might ask me the same question. --Anonymous
It is not how much you do, but how much love you put into the doing that matters. --Mother Teresa
The great thing is, if one can, to stop regarding all the unpleasant things as interruptions in one's "own" or "real" life. The truth is, of course, that what one regards as interruptions are precisely one's life.--C.S. Lewis
God is looking for people through whom He can do the impossible. What a pity we plan only the things we can do by ourselves.
I have this on my iPod - love it! One of my all-time favorite movies too.
