These photos illustrate a very interesting article from The New York Times by Jonathan Safran Foer, called "Against Meat." Personally, I think the photos present an effective argument all by themselves.Although one could argue the veggies below would not be nearly as appealing if they too were peeled and sectioned.
But I would argue back that in that case they would still be more appetizing.Still, those oozing, fleshy cuts look great compared with the mental image of ground "beef" I now have after reading another article, also from the NY Times, that was really illuminating about where your hamburger might be coming from: http://www.nytimes.com/2009/10/04/health/04meat.html?_r=2
